U.S. Army Program
Manager for Assembled Chemical Weapons Assessment (PMACWA)
We provided the technical writing, editing, web design and
graphic and production support for the PMACWA. The Under
Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology charged
PMACWA with identifying and demonstrating alternative technologies
to baseline incineration for the disposal of assembled chemical
weapons. Once alternative technologies were demonstrated,
we wrote, edited and produced the final technical reports
that were submitted to Congress in 2002.

West African
Gas Pipeline (WAGP) Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
For our client, Chevron Nigeria, Ltd., we provided technical
writing, editing, subcontractor coordination and graphics
support for their West African Gas Pipeline Environmental
Impact Assessment. The project was an extensive EIA that
compiled information from Nigeria, Benin, Togo and other
West African nations. Many of the original authors were
non-native English speakers. The final document reached
over 1,000 pages in length, including 18 appendices. We
turned the entire document around in less than three.

U.S. Air Force
Modular Aircraft Support System (MASS)
The MASS program provided engineering design and fabrication
of a modular approach to the provision of ground support
equipment for various aircrafts including the F-15, F-22,
Joint Strike Fighter, and Apache and Longbow helicopters.
PP&A worked closely with members of the design team
under the prime contractor in the performance of these tasks.
The Rapid Off-Load Manifold carts designed under this contract
are in production and deployed in Afghanistan and Pakistan
for Forward Area Refueling Points. In addition, the MASS
program was one of three Air Force programs nominated for
the inaugural Science and Technology Transition for Affordability
Award by the DoD (2001).

EPA Safety, Health
and Environmental Management (SHEM) Division
We continue to provide technical writing, editing and marketing
and graphics services to the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency Safety, Health and Environmental Management (SHEM)
division. We have completed tasks ranging from writing and
editing highly technical documents, to designing and producing
complex marketing collateral, including brochures, posters
and presentations. PP&A has worked closely with members
of the EPA and the prime contractor in the performance of
these tasks, including technical editing of the EPA Fume
Hood Manual, design and production of a related White House
display and technical proposal support.

Gillette
Technical Training Department
We provided technical writing, editing and graphics support
to various projects managed by Gillette’s Technical
Training Department. We have supported more than 25 projects,
including the creation of technical reference and training
materials, filming training videos, evaluation of training
collateral effectiveness in classroom application and production
of the company’s critical ISO certification documentation.
